/ Abstract
Community Supportive Safe Environment (CSSE) is the pilot project, aimed to involve community members in the planning, development, design, and implementation of more adaptable safe injection sites (consisting of fixed and mobile units). It aims to apply and assess a community-based intervention to reduce substance use-related harms through risk and harm reduction approaches in Parkdale as one of the hot points.
/ Research Process
The design process included extensive literature review, scanning online/offline resources, and interview with PWLE. Communication design (advertising and branding) was an important part of the project. A key factor to create support, acceptance, and the feeling of belonging.

/ Results
Identification of the vital role of communication design and health communication in a community-based intervention. Identification of the phases to be considered in design and implementation. Design and development of tools and materials that enable the project process. The CSSE poster visualises the proposal, including: the project phases, timelines, objectives and designed tools and materials.
